Australian Tech Passive Fire Pty Ltd (“we”, “us”) provides passive fire protection and skilled manpower services in Australia. This policy explains how we handle personal information under the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth) and the Australian Privacy Principles.

We collect only what we need to respond to you, deliver our work and employ people safely:
Contact details you give us, such as your name, company, email, phone number and site address, and what you tell us about your project.
Job applications, including your CV, qualifications, licences and certificates (such as a White Card) and referees.
Messages you send us by email, phone or WhatsApp.
Website usage data, such as the pages visited and your device and browser type, collected by our website provider. We do not use it to identify you.
How we use it
We use personal information to:
answer enquiries, prepare quotes and deliver our services;
assess job applications and confirm that workers hold the licences and inductions a site requires;
meet our safety, insurance and legal obligations;
improve our website.
We do not sell personal information, and we do not send marketing without your consent.
Who we share it with
We share personal information only when we need to: with clients and principal contractors on a project you work on (for site inductions and compliance records), our insurers and professional advisers, government bodies when the law requires it, and the providers that host our website, email and files. Some of these providers store data outside Australia, including in the United States and Europe.
Storage and security
We keep personal information in secure electronic systems and paper records, limit access to the people who need it, and delete or de-identify it once we no longer need it.
Access and correction
You can ask to see the personal information we hold about you, or ask us to correct it. Contact us using the details below and we will respond within 30 days.
